COALITION are seeking a Principal Consultant to lead our Pharmaceutical Practice.  The role requires someone who will engage with clients on a deep level and understand where support is required and how to deliver it for maximum impact. 

 

The successful applicant will need to be able to compel target organizations to fully embrace COALITION’s approach as, as. As a start-up, providing a unique portfolio of support, we need our clients to really enjoy the benefits COALITION’s services so that we can make a visible dent on our mission of helping to deliver life-alteringmeaningful change with greater speed and efficiency.

 

Previous consulting experience is preferred, however candidates that have spent their career to date in senior positions within the Pharmaceutical industry are also welcomed.  The successful applicant will need to demonstrate that they excel in delighting current clients and securing those that we target.  They should also be able to convince that they can build and manage a practice of rock star consultants that will deliver on COALITION’s mission.

 

COALITION provides Collaboration Management, Business Transformation and Innovation Strategy support to organizations operating within industries where regulatory burden is heavy and the output of development programs is highly valuable. The Pharmaceutical practice is core to our efforts to demonstrate that strategic and intimate management of efforts can make a real difference in how quickly and effectively projects can be brought to their successful conclusion, especially where regulatory frameworks have traditionally been seen to slow progress.

 

This Principal Consultant position requires an entrepreneurial approach from a candidate with deep Pharmaceutical subject matter expertise. This role provides an almost limitless opportunity to establish and lead a team and experience an extremely rewarding career trajectory.

 

As the Principal Consultant, you will:

  • Focus on establishing and growing COALITION’s presence and reputation within the Pharmaceutical industry.

  • Work in close partnership with other ConsultantsConsultants to strategically secure and grow client accounts.

  • Use deep subject-matter expertise, whilst living and livebreathing COALITION’s approach to produce superior project outcomes.

  • Support further development of COALITION’s unique proposition to the Pharmaceutical industry and across other highly regulated industries.

  • Recruit, develop, motivate, coach and serve as a role model for other consultants within the Pharmaceutical practice and across the rest of COALITION.

  • Drive profitability at the project and practice level.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience of operating at a leadership level within the Pharmaceutical industry, preferably with at least some time spent within a leading healthcare consulting firm. They will have an established network within the Pharmaceutical sector.  

 

Further experience / characteristics; the ideal candidate will:

  • Be a highly effective problem solver.

  • Be a creative, “big picture” thinker while maintaining a keen attention to detail.

  • Be an expert-level listener.

  • Hold executive-level presence and communication.

  • Be comfortable working with and leading groups, as well as sensitivity to the individual, group, and organizational dynamics.

  • Be able to meet tight deadlines while juggling many balls.

  • Have demonstrated success building and leading teams.
